Undergraduate Summer Student
Kenda is a third year student at McGill University majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology, and minoring in Chemistry. Her background spans from work at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre to cellular biology projects in Montreal. She is extremely interested in the health sciences and improving diagnostics and treatments to improve patient outcomes. This summer her project works on CRISPR point-of-care diagnostics to detect microRNAs associated with heart failure. Beyond the lab, Kenda loves listening to music, reading, puzzles, and running.
