Kelvin completed his undergrad in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Toronto, where he developed a passion for translational research while learning about cutting-edge work aimed at improving human health. Going through the COVID-19 pandemic focused that passion and inspired Kelvin to work on solutions to tackle the issue of infectious diseases. Now, as an MASc student, he’s designing diagnostic biosensors to combat the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance in infectious diseases. Outside of the lab, he enjoys gaming with friends, playing badminton, and finding the best places to eat in Toronto.
