Bhedesh is a second-year undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering at the University of Toronto, with a strong interest in research at the interface of biotechnology and applied chemistry. His work focuses on the design and optimization of CRISPR-responsive hydrogels for controlled dye release, under the co-supervision of Professor Caitlin Maikawa. This project contributes to broader efforts in developing diagnostic biosensors. Outside of the lab, Bhedesh is passionate about music, nature photography, and fitness, and enjoys exploring the intersection of science and creativity in his free time.
