Adam studied Integrated Science in Biology at Western University where he worked on microbial engineering projects. His research in the Weckman Lab focuses on developing a novel sensing tool combining genetic circuits and solid state nanopores for multiplexed detection of diverse biomarkers. Adam values the translation of academic research into entrepreneurial ventures and holds leadership positions in the start-up ecosystem with ambitions to see his project develop into a venture of its own. Beyond the lab, you can find Adam exploring cafes, cutting hair in his makeshift barbershop, or engaging in friendly board game and sports competitions!
